3 years later

So, as you can tell, this blog is a little dusty. The last time I wrote something I was in Japan modeling and having a great time while doing it! Well, it's 3 years and 20 pounds later and I think it's about time I finally do this modeling thing for real!!!! I have finished high school, and I am now a freshman in college. To say the least, I hate college. Honestly, it is the worst. I have never really been a fan of school in general, but college is so much more than that. Lots of writing papers, staying up late, and procrastinating. Needless to say, it has opened my eyes to what is out there for me. I have been told numerous times that if I just set my mind to it and get to where I need to be, that I could easily do this for my career. Being that I want a career in fashion anyways, I think that my best choice right now would be to put my heart into this and give modeling my best shot. Honestly what do I have to lose by trying? Starting tomorrow I am bringing my journey (again) to get in shape and hopefully be able to make it to fashion week in the fall. I estimated about 5 months to lose the weight and get back in the swing of things. By no means will this weight loss/fitness journey be easy, but I am about to give it everything I have left. As of today I have about 20 pounds and 5 inches to lose..... So let's hit it!! Starting tomorrow (because you can't start a diet on a Sunday amirite). I'll be posting my workouts, healthy food ideas, fitspo pictures, and the eight I have lost (I'll be weighing and measuring every few weeks). Hopefully, with the support of my mother -- the only one who knows I am starting this journey again -- I can reach my goal and keep it up! Like I said, I am keeping this on the DL because I have received a lot of negativity about modeling and losing weight in the past. All of the people I talk to about this just tell me that I am already skinny and that I don't need to lose weight. Well people, I am here to say that by no means am I fat, but I am definitely unhealthy. I just want to be the next Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid, and that means getting the best and most fit body that I have ever/will ever have. Also, I have been vegan for about 3 months and plan to continue living that way for the rest of my life, so I will be losing this weight the vegan way. If anyone out there has any tips or questions, don't hesitate to contact me!

I plan to post a few times a week, but don't hold me to it. With 3 jobs, school, working out, eating healthy, and maintaining my sanity, I may forget here and there. Just bare with me!

Currently I am doing everything to not have to write a paper that is due tomorrow, so I better go work out now! ;')

Week: 3 day: 25

I've already almost been here an entire month!  That's just crazy, but it has been such an experience. I've been told that I am moving into a different apartment, with most of the other girls from my agency, and that is good because the laundry is free there!  I have been pretty happy with my current apartment so far, so hopefully this one won't let me down. I think that the only differences will be a smaller bed, and I get a couch..? But anyways, today I had a test shoot and it was paid, it wasn't bad.  I only had one outfit, I wore a pink wig, and the makeup was fairly natural. It would have been better if the girl I was working for spoke English, but it's all good.  Even though she didn't really speak English, she still tried and was nice. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! xx,

week:2 day:19

There is a bit of exciting news to share.  This would be that there is a possibility that I can stay for Tokyo fashion week!!  How exciting would that be if I got to walk in Tokyo fashion week?  So anyways, in other news I've been getting jobs.  This past week I had jobs 4 out of the 5 days!  Monday I had nothing, Tuesday I had a MAC presentation show.  On Wednesday and Thursday I shot for fudge magazine.  Then on Friday I shot for fudge again, but that time it was with another girl.  That day was quite exciting, because in the shoot I got to wear one of my favorite designers (Marc Jacobs).  The clothes and the people were amazing! Today I got my butt out of bed and went to the grocery store.  I actually made a couple trips!  the first time I spent about $24, and I only got a couple things!  ive decided that I will only go to the big grocery store for the cereal that I eat, because at the smaller grocery store by my apartment they have everything else that I need.  I even put the prices to the test, at the tokyu food show a strawberry yogurt is 148 yen (about $1.48), but at the maretsu by my apartment the exact same yogurt is 98 yen (98 cents).  How ridiculous!  Also for a 2 liter of water at the food show was 168 yen, but at the maretsu it was only 100 yen!  If you ever decide to come to Tokyo, do not make big shopping trips at the food show, unless you figure out a Japanese coupon.  Well I have to go o Geometry, boo.  XX,

Day 6:

Well, today it snowed.  Literally all day it snowed!  Today I watched a movie, made some chicken (which was awesome by the way), went to get groceries, skyped, and did some homework.  Tomorrow I have my first job!  I am modeling for Gilt, it is an online catalog that I will be modeling for.  I heard from one of the other girls that they give you facials before they put your makeup on!  I really hope that they do!  I should probably pick up around my 'roomy' apartment.  It's a little bit of a mess.  Okay maybe more than a little..  Well ill be back tomorrow with an update on how everything goes!  XX

Japan; week one

My first week in Tokyo was great!  I met new people, and went on plenty of castings.  As soon as I got here they put me right to work.  Everyday I have about fifteen to twenty castings, but I don't mind.  We normally work from twelve to twelve!  Today me and my mom went shopping in Shibuya, the shopping close to us, and we got some souvenirs and of course clothes and shoes.  The fashion here is surprisingly not that different from America, but not the type of stuff that you might see in Oklahoma.  I forgot one of the most important things for this trip, a coat, so I had to go get one!  I also picked up some stuff that I can wear to castings.  Although, I am still on the hunt for a pair of Litas from Jeffery Campbell.  This Monday I have off because it is coming of age day, so who knows what we will do!  XX
